With the rise in popularity in getting tattoos, many local tattoo shops have risen to fame and had a great deal of success with locals and tourists alike. So much that one local joint, “Miami Ink,” rose to national fame with the same-named television reality series based on the local South Beach tattoo parlor.
Well, some people have regretted the decision to get a tattoo, and now it’s time to start thinking about a tattoo removal strategy. The Miami Herald reported first that there is an “uptick” in business among tattoo removal establishments in South Florida. Could it be that the fad is over? Are people starting to lose interest in this as a form of body art?
I for one could care less. Some people have great tats and some people have downright stupid tats. The bottom line is, if you have a tattoo, and you want it removed, there are willing and able companies that can help you out with this. Tattoo removal is a big business, and with all of the drunks in South Beach getting meaningless Spring Break memoirs tatted on their bodies, it’s a safe bet that many of them will end up regretting it.
