Dolphins Fail to hold Big Lead vs. Saints

The Miami Dolphins blew a 21 point lead on Sunday, allowing the visiting Saints to come back and post a 46-34 win at LandShark Stadium.  The Dolphins early lead was a sign of good things, and running back Ricky Williams had a monster game for the Fins, who drop to 2-4 in the defeat.

It’s never a good thing to blow such a big lead, but if it’s going to happen against somebody, at least it’s the red-hot New Orleans Saints. The go ahead score was made by Drew Brees, who ran the ball in from two yards and subsequently dunked it over the goal posts.

Miami also lost defensive back Will Allen for the season.  Allen tore his ACL.
