Braylon Edwards Debuts Vs. Dolphins

by Terry Bender

The New York Jets have just acquired the big time receiver they need to make a push to the next level, by trading for wide receiver Braylon Edwards, formerly of the Cleveland Browns.  Edwards, who had a monster year in 2007 with the Browns, now makes New York a legit AFC contender, if they weren’t already, by adding depth to the wide receiver spot.  Edwards gives rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez a deep threat who can stretch the field.

By coincidence, the New York Jets are in town Monday night at Landshark Stadium taking on the hometown Dolphins.
